Leendder
Biography
Sustained by the pop of New Order and by the upfront electronic of Front 242, Leendder (a.k.a Gabriel B.) began his career in 1995 as a House DJ. For a long time influenced by the Deep electronic styles, he finished his first production in 1996 on the « Total House Recordings » label and appears immediatly on one of the first BMG Ibiza compilation in particular besides Armand Van Helden and moreover signing several tracks on a national french label called « United Tracks Of House ». After some Deep EP’s and signatures on several labels, he signed a remix in 2001 of the hit single « People » for the Dax Riders crew. It was a big jump forward that made him known abroad. Then he signed on « Airtight » and « Hooj Choons » in England, on « Dessous » Steve Bug’s label in Germany and also produced more and more electronic EP’s on the « Subscience » french label as well on « The Lords Of Sound » label. Of the Blow he was remixed by Jerome Pacman, Cyril K., Plaisir De France, and DJ Vas from the Kojak crew. His main activity turns to production and many tracks appeared on labels like Starsky Records, Le Maquis, Floating Point, Hot Dogs Traxx, United Recordings, Toulhouse Records, ect… After two sabbatical years he comes back in 2008 on production with the « Space Breaks Records » label with a typical hypnotic Chicago track. In 2009, he put a lot of work on his newest electronic project « Leendder ». This project is defined for raw dancefloor and underground clubbing with a tasty twist of moody romantism. He signed his first EP « Love Process » in 2010 on Moonchild Records. And his second shot is for Like Life Records.
